Announcement of New ECS Capitol Services President
2 June 2021 / Mike Yasek, PE has been named President of ECS Capitol Services, an associate entity of the ECS Group of Companies. In his new role, he will join an established team of engineers, field inspectors and support staff in the shared goal of “setting the standard for service” for clients in Washington, DC. Mr. Yasek most recently served as Principal Engineer and Group Manager in ECS Mid-Atlantic’s Manassas, VA and Chantilly, VA offices. A member of the ECS team for nearly 15 years, Mr. Yasek has extensive geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing-related experience in the DC Metro/Mid-Atlantic area. His leadership of engineers and field technicians in the coordination of subsurface exploration studies and geotechnical engineering analyses for a wide range of projects, including commercial and government buildings, high-rise buildings with multiple below-grade levels, residential land development, DOT roadway projects, and geotechnical instrumentation, provides him with a broad and diverse background to lead the Capitol Services team. Mr. Yasek earned his Master of Engineering in Geotechnics from Missouri University of Science and Technology and Bachelor of Science in Geology from James Madison University. |
